Aceh Tamiang, Indonesia — Aceh Tamiang Regent Irjen Pol. (Ret.) Drs. Armia Pahmi, M.H. warmly received a delegation from the Aceh Tamiang Branch of the Indonesian Advocacy Agency (DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang) during an official audience held at the Aceh Tamiang Regent’s Office Hall on Wednesday (July 22, 2026).
The meeting served as an important opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the Aceh Tamiang Regency Government and DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang in promoting legal services, public advocacy, legal education, and greater public participation in supporting regional development.
The DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang delegation consisted of Chairman Syamsul, Secretary Saut Isak Parulian Simanjuntak, Treasurer Muhammad Zulzain, S.E., Head of the Legal and Human Rights Division represented by Dewi Kartika, S.H., Head of the Investigation Division Juliardi, Head of the Public Relations Division Ir. Tahar Bin Yusuf, and Head of the Economic Division Eko Waluya, S.E.

During the meeting, the delegation reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to becoming a strategic partner of the local government by enhancing public legal awareness, providing professional legal assistance, and contributing through social, humanitarian, and community empowerment programs.
Regent Armia Pahmi expressed his appreciation for the organization’s commitment and offered valuable recommendations on strengthening communication and collaboration with the regional government. He emphasized that cooperation between the government, professional organizations, and community organizations is essential to promoting transparent, accountable, and people-oriented governance.
“With effective communication and a spirit of togetherness, the challenges of regional development can be addressed collectively. The Aceh Tamiang Regency Government remains open to collaborating with all elements of society for the progress of our region,” the Regent said.
Chairman Syamsul expressed his gratitude for the warm reception extended by the Regent and the Aceh Tamiang Regency Government. He said the audience marked the beginning of closer cooperation in providing legal education, assisting local communities, and promoting greater legal certainty throughout Aceh Tamiang Regency.
The meeting was held in a constructive and engaging atmosphere, concluding with a group photo session and the ceremonial presentation of copies of the Indonesian Criminal Procedure Code (KUHAP) and the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP) by Regent Armia Pahmi. The presentation symbolized a shared commitment to strengthening the partnership between the Government of Aceh Tamiang Regency and the DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang in advancing better public services and promoting sustainable regional development.
