Aceh Tamiang, Indonesia – The Commander of Military District Command (Kodim) 0117/Aceh Tamiang, Raden Subhi Fitra Jaya, accompanied by Deputy Commander Major Lili Fitriadi and Intelligence Officer Captain Nunuk Rukmana, received a courtesy visit from the Badan Advokasi Indonesia (BAI) Branch Leadership Council (DPC) of Aceh Tamiang. The delegation consisted of Chairman Syamsul, Secretary SIP Simanjuntak, Treasurer Muhammad Zulzain, Head of Investigation Division Juliardi, and Head of Economic and People’s Welfare Division Eko Waluya.
The meeting was held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the Kodim 0117/Aceh Tamiang Headquarters as part of efforts to strengthen friendship and institutional cooperation in supporting communities affected by the hydrometeorological floods that struck several areas of Aceh Tamiang Regency.
The discussion took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere, reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing coordination and collaboration in post-disaster recovery efforts. The meeting served as an important opportunity to build stronger partnerships aimed at assisting flood-affected communities in social, economic, and humanitarian aspects.

During the visit, Chairman Syamsul expressed his appreciation for the active role played by the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), particularly Kodim 0117/Aceh Tamiang, which had continuously supported local residents through humanitarian assistance, community service activities, and mutual cooperation initiatives from the emergency response phase through the recovery period.
He stated that DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang is fully committed to working closely with Kodim 0117/Aceh Tamiang in various social and advocacy programs designed to support communities impacted by the disaster.
“We hope to establish strong cooperation between DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang and Kodim 0117/Aceh Tamiang, particularly in supporting post-flood recovery efforts, including encouraging the acceleration of assistance needed by affected communities,” he said.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Raden Subhi Fitra Jaya welcomed the visit and emphasized the importance of collaboration among the military, community organizations, and all stakeholders in helping residents recover from the disaster’s impacts.
“The success of post-flood recovery efforts does not depend solely on the government. It also requires the active participation of all elements of society through the spirit of mutual cooperation, social concern, and the dissemination of clear and responsible information to the public,” the Commander stated.
During the dialogue, both parties discussed various challenges still faced by flood-affected communities, including economic recovery needs, social assistance programs, infrastructure rehabilitation, and the importance of transparency and coordination in the distribution of aid.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to maintaining communication and strengthening cooperation in community-oriented activities, ensuring that post-disaster recovery efforts in Aceh Tamiang can be carried out more effectively and provide tangible benefits to local residents.
The event was also marked by a group photo session as a symbol of unity and a collective commitment to serving the community and supporting the development of a disaster-resilient region.
