Aceh Tamiang, Indonesia – Amid the grief and struggles of communities striving to recover from the impact of recent disasters, a ray of hope has emerged through humanitarian volunteers who have crossed national borders to extend their assistance. The concern and dedication demonstrated by Human Initiative Japan have received high appreciation from the Aceh Tamiang Branch of the Indonesian Advocacy Agency (DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang) for the support and attention provided to local communities, particularly elementary and junior high school students in Aceh Tamiang.
The Chairman of DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang, Syamsul, through the Head of Investigation Division, Juliardi, conveyed his deepest respect and gratitude to all Human Initiative Japan volunteers for their humanitarian solidarity without regard to ethnicity, religion, or nationality. The appreciation was delivered in Dusun Famili, Tanjung Karang Village, Karang Baru District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, on Tuesday (June 23, 2026).
Representing Human Initiative Japan from Jakarta/Depok, Project Manager Salma Nisrina stated that the assistance provided is not merely material support but also a symbol of compassion and global brotherhood that strengthens the spirit of the community, especially schoolchildren, during difficult times.
“We hope that this assistance will help ease the burden of affected residents and contribute to the rapid social and economic recovery of disaster-impacted areas, particularly Aceh Tamiang,” said Salma.
DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang views the humanitarian efforts carried out by Human Initiative Japan as a tangible example of how international collaboration can create a positive impact on communities in need.
