Aceh Tamiang – In commemoration of International Workers’ Day, which falls on May 1, the Regional Executive Board of the Indonesian Advocacy Agency (DPC BAI) Aceh Tamiang extended its congratulations to all workers and laborers across Indonesia, especially those in Aceh Tamiang. The message was delivered at the DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang Secretariat in Kebun Tanah Terban Village, Karang Baru District, on May 1, 2026.
The Head of DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang, Syamsul, stated that Labor Day is an important moment to appreciate the significant role workers play in national development. Workers are considered the backbone of the economy, contributing across various sectors, including industry, agriculture and plantations, as well as services.
“We from DPC BAI wish you a Happy International Workers’ Day. May all Indonesian workers become more prosperous, receive proper legal protection, and continue to be given strength in carrying out their roles,” he said.
Furthermore, DPC BAI reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding and advocating for workers’ rights, especially in terms of legal justice and labor protection.
This Labor Day momentum is expected not only to be ceremonial but also to serve as a reminder for all parties, including the government and business actors, to continue improving welfare and justice for workers.
