Aceh Tamiang, Indonesia – The Head of the Aceh Tamiang District Prosecutor’s Office, Dr. Yudhi Syufriadi, accompanied by Head of the Intelligence Section Johanes M Aritonang and Head of Subsection I of the Intelligence Section Iqbal Risha Ahmadi, received a courtesy visit from the Regional Executive Board of the Indonesian Advocacy Agency (BAI) Aceh Tamiang. The delegation consisted of Chairman Syamsul, Secretary SIP Simanjuntak, Treasurer Muhammad Zulzain, Head of Legal and Human Rights Division Satria Maimun Syah, Head of Investigation Division Juliardi, and Head of Economic and Community Affairs Division Eko Waluya.
A warm atmosphere and a strong spirit of collaboration characterized the meeting between the Regional Executive Board (DPC) of the Indonesian Advocacy Agency (BAI) Aceh Tamiang and the Aceh Tamiang District Prosecutor’s Office, held at the Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. The meeting marked an important milestone in strengthening synergy between a community advocacy organization and law enforcement authorities in pursuit of justice that is closer to the people.
More than a routine courtesy visit, the meeting served as a meaningful platform for dialogue regarding various issues faced by the community and joint efforts to seek constructive solutions.
During the discussion, DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang introduced its organizational structure and conveyed its commitment to serving as a leading institution in providing legal assistance, advocacy, and legal education to the public. BAI also emphasized its readiness to act as a bridge of communication between the community and law enforcement institutions.
Chairman Syamsul stated that the organization aims to deliver tangible benefits to society, particularly in enhancing legal awareness and advocating for citizens’ rights in a professional manner and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
“The synergy between BAI and the Prosecutor’s Office is a strategic step toward building public legal awareness. We aspire to be a partner in creating a justice system that is transparent, humane, and aligned with the interests of the people,” he said.
Meanwhile, Head of the Aceh Tamiang District Prosecutor’s Office, Dr. Yudhi Syufriadi, warmly welcomed the collaborative spirit demonstrated by DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang. He emphasized that cooperation between law enforcement agencies and community organizations is one of the key factors in establishing good governance and promoting regional development.
“Unity and collaboration between law enforcement authorities and community stakeholders will become a powerful force in realizing a more advanced, orderly, and just Aceh Tamiang. Therefore, strong communication and cooperation must continue to be maintained for the benefit of the wider community,” said Dr. Yudhi.
