Aceh Tamiang – The Aceh Tamiang Branch Executive Board of the Indonesian Advocacy Agency (DPC Badan Advokasi Indonesia/BAI) held an Integrity and Roles & Responsibilities (Tupoksi) Meeting on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at a café in Karang Baru. The meeting was organized as a strategic initiative to strengthen organizational governance, enhance professionalism, and ensure that legal services for the public are delivered effectively, transparently, and accountably.
The meeting was attended by the executive board members of DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang, including Chairman Syamsul, Secretary Saut Isak Parulian Simanjuntak, Treasurer Muhammad Zulzain, S.E., Head of the Legal Division Satria Maimun Syah, S.H., Deputy Head of the Legal Division Dewi Kartika, S.H., Head of the Investigation Division Juliardi, Head of the Economic and People’s Empowerment Division Eko Waluya, S.E., Head of the Social and Humanitarian Affairs Division Nasrul Anggara, as well as Investigation Team members Nuning Hermiana, S.Pd., and Ahmad Akbar Aritonang.
The meeting served as an important forum to establish a shared understanding of the organization’s core values of integrity while reaffirming the duties, authority, and responsibilities of each management member. Through this meeting, DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang reaffirmed its commitment to building an organization founded on integrity and dedicated to serving the public, particularly those seeking justice.
During the discussions, the participants agreed on several key principles that will serve as operational guidelines for all board members. These include the obligation to uphold honesty in every action and organizational report, implement transparency in administrative and financial management, and maintain accountability in carrying out organizational responsibilities and providing legal services to the community.
Furthermore, all management members were reminded not to misuse the organization’s name, position, or authority for personal or group interests. DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang emphasized that the interests of justice seekers must always remain the organization’s highest priority in every form of legal assistance and public service.
As a collective commitment, all board members expressed their readiness to uphold the good name and reputation of DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang by maintaining professionalism, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility. The meeting also reaffirmed that any violations of the organization’s code of ethics or integrity principles will be addressed in accordance with the applicable internal disciplinary procedures.
The outcomes of this meeting are expected to provide a solid foundation for strengthening the organization’s governance while improving the quality of legal services delivered to the community. Through stronger integrity and a clearer understanding of the roles and responsibilities of each management member, DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang remains optimistic about fulfilling its mission as a professional, credible advocacy organization and as a trusted partner of the public in promoting justice and the rule of law.
The resolutions adopted during the meeting shall take effect immediately upon approval and will be reviewed periodically in accordance with the organization’s needs and the evolving demands of its activities.
