ACEH TAMIANG – Efforts to ensure that social assistance reaches the right beneficiaries and delivers tangible benefits to the community continue to receive attention from various stakeholders. Muhammad Zakiruddin, a member of the Aceh House of Representatives (DPRA) Task Force, widely known as Bang Zek, met with Syamsul, Chairman of the Indonesian Advocacy Agency (BAI) Aceh Tamiang Branch (DPC BAI), at the Aceh Tamiang Sports Hall (GOR) on Wednesday, November 4, 2026.
During the meeting, Syamsul expressed his appreciation for Muhammad Zakiruddin’s presence and commitment in helping oversee the distribution of assistance from the Aceh Government through the Aceh Tamiang Social Affairs Office. He emphasized that direct monitoring and attention to the implementation of government assistance demonstrate a genuine commitment to supporting communities in need.
“I highly appreciate Bang Zek’s performance and dedication in being present and helping ensure that this assistance is distributed properly. We also appreciate the efforts of the Aceh Tamiang Regency Government, through its Social Affairs Office, in realizing this assistance funded through the Aceh Government’s Regional Financial Transfer (TKD) budget,” Syamsul stated.
Syamsul further emphasized that social assistance and community economic empowerment programs should not merely be viewed as budget distribution initiatives, but as part of the government’s responsibility to improve people’s living standards. Therefore, supervision, transparency, and accurate targeting must remain shared priorities to ensure that assistance reaches eligible recipients and is used productively.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Zakiruddin explained that the assistance was provided under a program of the Aceh Government through the Aceh Provincial Social Affairs Office. His presence as a DPRA Task Force representative was part of the effort to ensure that the assistance was properly distributed and delivered positive outcomes for the intended beneficiaries.
“We want to ensure that this assistance reaches the right people. Our hope is that it will truly benefit those who need it. Alhamdulillah, the assistance has been successfully realized,” Muhammad Zakiruddin said.
He also explained that the assistance covered several productive business sectors, including sewing services, culinary businesses, cake-making enterprises, small retail shops, and vehicle washing business. These forms of support are expected to serve as initial capital and encouragement for beneficiaries to develop their businesses, strengthen economic independence, and increase household incomes.
The meeting marked a positive step toward strengthening communication and cooperation between DPC BAI Aceh Tamiang and DPRA Task Force representative Muhammad Zakiruddin in supporting government programs that directly benefit the community. DPC BAI reaffirmed its commitment to carrying out its advocacy role and encouraging constructive public oversight to ensure that government assistance programs are implemented transparently, accountably, and reach the people who genuinely need them.
